How to Select Emeralds with Utmost Attention
Emeralds have achieved position among the most valuable and beautiful gems. These costly gems are mined in different parts of the world including Colombia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Russia, India, Pakistan, and in the United States. This gem is supposed to be mostly green color to deposit chromium oxide in its preparation. These gems are rarely found without inclusions. However, the inclusions suggest the synthetic forms of these gems.
Since emeralds are very precious, so you must take your time to identify the real these gems before going to select one. Your major concern should be the budget. Then you can go for quality. The quality may differ depending on the price. You can take the help from a reputable gemological institute to know if the jewelry piece is pure.
Pay attention to its color while choosing these gems. The stone should be a deep dark green. Next you should look for gem's transparency or crystal quality. Choose an emerald of high transparency. If an emerald has vibrant color, is clear and is rationally priced, it may be a manmade emerald.
Another important thing for evaluating an emerald is the cut. Usually, an emerald is cut in a rectangular step-cut. Now these gems are also found in different cuts or shapes, such as princess, round, pear, oval, marquis, and radiant. These shapes increase the beauty and value of the stone. To ensure whether these gems are original or not, view it from many different angles facing it to the light. It should reflect the light from its surfaces uniformly well; regardless of from what direction it is watched. If you are unable to choose the best one, ask for several of these gems and put them next to each other and judge clarity, color, and cut.
Ask the jewelers whether the emerald has any inclusions or chemically treated in some way with irradiation, coating, dyeing, or heating because this will decrease the value of the stone. The majority emeralds are oiled with cedar oil to develop their clarity; but this is acceptable.

GBA games from china and legality?
I'm thinking of purchasing GBA games from China over the internet - the company seems reputable (from talking via email) but I'm still concerned about wether the games are legit.
They say they'll charge $5 per game - I've been shown images of the games, with english manuals, boxes etc. and the games that have coloured cartrige cases (e.g. pokemon emerald has a transparent green cartrige) so it looks very real.
The thing is I'm afraid that (because they're from china) that the games will be copies.
If I were to buy them and sell them on ebay - would this be a dangerous thing to do? I mean I have no real reason to believe they aren't real apart from the price.
Any help?
